DearMrs.Dyer，—IamveryuneasyaboutaBookwhichIeitherhavelostorleftatyourhouseonThursday.ItwasthebookIwentouttofetchfromMissBuffams，whilethetripewasfrying.ItiscalledPhillipsTheatrumPoetarum;butitisanEnglishbook.IthinkIleftitintheparlour.ItisMr.Carysbook，andIwouldnotloseitfortheworld.Pray，ifyoufindit，bookitattheSwan，SnowHill，byanEdmontonstageimmediately，directedtoMr.Lamb，Church-street，Edmonton，orwritetosayyoucannotfindit.Iamquiteanxiousaboutit.Ifitislost，Ishallneverliketripeagain.

AtthetimeofhisdeathLambwasverynearlysixty.HisbirthdaywasFebruary10.

MaryLamb，withoccasionallapsesintosoundhealth，survivedhimuntilMay20，1847.AtfirstshecontinuedtoliveatEdmonton，butafewyearslatermovedtothehouseofMrs.Parsons，sisterofheroldnurse，MissJames，inSt.JohnsWood.Iappendthreeletters，twowrittenandoneinspired，byher，toMissJaneNorris，oneofthedaughtersofRandalNorris.OfthefriendsmentionedthereinImightaddthatEdwardMoxonliveduntil1858;Mrs.EdwardMoxonuntil1891;JamesKenneyuntil1849;ThomasHooduntil1845;andBarronFielduntil1846.]
